Digital Solutions

Digital systems built around defined business problems.

Octonify develops digital Solutions when a system can create meaningful value for a defined business problem.

We begin with the work the system needs to support and the information people need to make decisions. Then we identify the capabilities and tools the situation requires.

A Solution should fit the work.

A system is useful when it supports real workflows, makes relevant information easier to use or clarifies ownership and status. Octonify considers the operating environment and the people who will use the Solution throughout the work.

Reusable technical foundations may support delivery. The resulting system remains adaptable to the client’s requirements.

Each Solution uses only the capabilities its problem requires. We consider suitable existing tools before recommending custom development.

From requirements to a working system

  1. Clarify the problem

Agree on the outcome or decision the system should support.

  2. Understand the operating environment

Review relevant workflows, information, systems, responsibilities and constraints with the people who understand the work.

  3. Select the required capabilities

Determine what needs to change and which existing or custom capabilities fit the requirements.

  4. Build and test in useful increments

Implement a manageable version and observe how it works in practice.

  5. Improve and operate

Use evidence, ownership, risk and changes in the operating environment to guide further improvements.

Public Solution portfolio

Octonify adds individual Solution pages when readiness and supporting evidence are established. This page describes the Solution approach and possible capabilities. Named products are added when they are ready to be marketed.
